Calvary Murrieta Christian School closes Friday, ending 33-year run

Patch: Calvary Murrieta Christian School will close permanently when the 2025-26 academic year ends Friday, affecting 74 employees and 297 students at the private TK-8 campus at 24275 Monroe Avenue. The church board cited declining enrollment and financial difficulties — the same reasons the senior pastor named when CMCS shut its high school in 2019. The school opened in 1993 as a ministry of Calvary Murrieta church. A March 16 WARN filing with the state preceded the public announcement.
