Where to watch fireworks across the IE this Fourth of July weekend

Riverside — Fourth of July Spectacular

Two simultaneous launches give the city full coverage. Mt. Rubidoux and Carlson Dog Park close at 7 a.m. that day, and La Sierra access tightens from July 3 — get your spot early or pick a side.
Ontario — Independence Day Celebration
Sat, July 4 · Drone show 8:45 p.m., fireworks 9 p.m. · Westwind Park · Free
The day runs long here: an All-States Picnic from 9:30 a.m., live bands through the afternoon and evening, then a drone show that hands off straight to fireworks. The double finale is the differentiator.
Big Bear Lake — Fireworks Spectacular

The mountain show is one of Southern California's best, fired from a barge and visible from the shoreline, the trails, and the water. Tune to KBHR at 93.3 or 102.5 FM for the synced soundtrack. Note the city's post-show traffic plan and the 5 p.m. parking restrictions on Pine Knot — this one rewards arriving early and staying late.

Rancho Cucamonga — Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular

Live music, on-field games, and a soundtracked show at the Quakes' ballpark. It sells out most years, the venue is cashless, and parking opens at 5:30 — buy ahead.
Big Bear — Above the Boom at Snow Summit

Ride the Scenic Sky Chair to 8,200 feet for dinner, live music, and the lake show from above. Worth flagging now: it's already sold out for 2026, so this one's a note for next year unless plans change.
Temecula — Fourth of July Extravaganza

A full afternoon-to-night festival in wine country, with fireworks after dark to close it.
Pechanga Resort Casino

A casino-hosted display on the resort grounds — pair it with dinner and make a night of it.
Also lighting up around the region, with a venue confirmed but the start time still worth a quick check with the city before you head out:
Fontana — live entertainment and fireworks at Summit High School, 15551 Summit Ave.
San Bernardino — fireworks around the 66ers game at the stadium downtown.
Eastvale — FourthFest, an all-day event with food, music, vendors, and fireworks.
Corona — a morning Main Street parade plus evening fireworks at Santana Regional Park.
Moreno Valley — afternoon festivities building to a fireworks show.
Lake Elsinore — lakeside fireworks with several public viewing spots.
Banning — family activities, vendors, live music, and an aerial display.
Beaumont — the Freedom Festival at Stewart Park, picnicking and a concert into fireworks.
Highland — a Red, White & Blue parade plus an evening show with Immanuel Baptist Church.
Lake Arrowhead — a mountain display with boats and planes over the lake.
Two things to file before Saturday. Fireworks — including "safe and sane" — are illegal across most of the region, with San Bernardino County allowing them only in a handful of cities and Riverside County banning them outright, fines running well into the thousands. And if you're driving up the mountain or out to wine country, the public shows draw real crowds: the early arrival isn't caution, it's the difference between a parking spot and an hour in the brake lights.
