Queen Mary's 90th anniversary programming runs through year-end
Queen Mary: Today marked 90 years since the Queen Mary's 1936 maiden voyage, and the Long Beach-docked liner is treating the milestone as the anchor of a yearlong anniversary program rather than a single day.
The weekend-actionable pieces: a new 90th Anniversary Exhibit (including an original 1936 maiden-voyage medallion), Saturday Afternoon Tea, Royal Sunday Brunch at $90 per guest, and a new "Dining through the Decades" period menu at Chelsea Chowder Hours & Bar. A new Embarkation Tour launched for the anniversary, and a July 4 event tied to America's 250th birthday is on the calendar for later this summer. Long Beach is roughly 70 miles from the corridor.
