Big Bear Maifest closes Saturday with the season finale

Visit Big Bear: Maifest wraps Saturday, May 30, from 1 to 8 pm at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center, 42900 Big Bear Blvd. Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 senior, $8 children, via bigbearevents.com. The four-Saturday spring run (May 16, 23, 24, 30) closes with this finale.

Parking is tight; the free Big Bear Trolley stops at the Convention Center. A roughly two-hour drive up the 18 or 38 from the corridor, plus the usual holiday-weekend traffic on the way down.
