Anime Riverside packs the Convention Center Saturday and Sunday

Anime Riverside: Anime Riverside runs Saturday, May 30 (10 am–7 pm) and Sunday, May 31 (10 am–6 pm) at the Riverside Convention Center downtown. Fifth annual event. The voice-actor lineup runs to roughly 45 names — Johnny Yong Bosch, Sean Schemmel, Todd Haberkorn, Michelle Ruff, Amanda "AmaLee" Lee among them — with cosplay contests, panels, an Itasha car show, and a live set from Alien Ant Farm.

Tickets start at $29 via tixr.com. Kids 12 and under are free with a paying adult, two kids per adult. Expect downtown parking to fill early both days.
