Mike Millard takes over as CEO of Acker-Stone's California and Arizona divisions

Mike Millard has taken over as chief executive of the California and Arizona divisions of Acker-Stone, the Corona-based manufacturer of pavers, permeable pavers, slabs, and segmental retaining walls. He started in the role this month.

Millard arrives from ORCO Block & Hardscape, where he most recently worked before the move. His career has run through sales and marketing on the hardscape and paving-stone side of the business rather than the plant floor — a commercial background taking over a manufacturing operation.

Acker-Stone runs its California manufacturing out of its Temescal Canyon Road plant in Corona, with additional production in Arizona. The company competes for landscape, commercial, and municipal paving work across the region.
