IE unemployment falls as hiring picks up across both counties

HSJ Chronicle: The Inland Empire's unemployment rate declined in the latest EDD release as employers across Riverside and San Bernardino counties added jobs and the number of residents counted as unemployed fell. Demand held in education and health services, leisure and hospitality, government, construction, and trade-related work. The usual caveat applies — seasonal hiring, school schedules, and consumer-spending shifts can move a single month — so this reads as a direction, not a trend.
