California WARN Act Filing: KBR Services filed a WARN notice with the California EDD for 758 permanent layoffs at Bldg. 896, Langford Lake Road in Fort Irwin. The 60-day notice ran from March 6, with the cuts taking effect May 6, 2026. KBR provides base operations and logistics support at the Army's National Training Center, the major training installation in the Mojave Desert. The filing dwarfs other recent San Bernardino County WARN notices — the next-largest is Frito-Lay at 248 workers.
