Riverside picks up ~$150K in climate and clean-energy grants
City of Riverside: Resilient Cities Catalyst, partnered with Climate Resolve and California Forward, picked Riverside as one of four winning projects statewide for its Resilience Implementation Accelerator — $20,000 plus pro bono project assistance for the Northside Agriculture Innovation Center, a solar-plus-urban-ag site in the city's Northside neighborhood. The award builds on $50,000 from Bloomberg Philanthropies' Youth Climate Action Fund and $76,042 from ICLEI USA and the Coalition for Green Capital to develop clean-energy public-private partnerships. Riverside was the only California city selected for the ICLEI/CGC funding.
