Morongo backs Tower Buzzers, puts its name on Quakes field

Inland Empire Business Journal: The Morongo Band of Mission Indians signed multi-year deals making Morongo Casino Resort Spa the presenting sponsor of the Ontario Tower Buzzers and renaming the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes' field "Morongo Field at the Epicenter."

The Tower Buzzers are the Minor League affiliate of the 2025 World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. They opened their first season at the new ONT Field with a ribbon-cutting on April 2. The Quakes — founded in 1993 — are the Angels' Minor League affiliate and hold three California League championships. Their Morongo Diamond Nights game on April 3 unveiled the field's new name.

Morongo Tribal Chairman Charles Martin tied the deal to baseball as America's pastime and to community across the IE. Morongo Casino CEO Mike Bean said the partnership fits the casino's focus on entertainment and guest experience. Both clubs are owned by Diamond Baseball Holdings.
