Desert Healthcare District gives $677K to five Coachella Valley nonprofits

NBC Palm Springs: The Desert Healthcare District and Foundation awarded nearly $677,000 to five Coachella Valley nonprofits, funding healthcare scholarships, air quality work, and aid for unsheltered residents. Recipients are Martha's Village and Kitchen, the Dr. Reynaldo J. Carreon Foundation, Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, Alianza Coachella Valley, and the Braille Institute.
