Champagne jazz on the lake at Thornton Winery

Thornton Winery: Thornton Winery's Champagne Jazz Series — the most extensive outdoor concert run in Temecula wine country — holds a Saturday-evening show June 13 on the winery's lakeside terrace. The series runs Saturdays at 7 p.m. from spring into fall, pairing name jazz acts with Thornton's sparkling wine and a sit-down dinner option. On Sunday June 14, the winery adds a no-cover afternoon set from Taylor Gray for drop-ins.

Tickets and the Saturday headliner are on Thornton's site; the no-cover Sunday set needs no reservation.
