Cajun fusion at the Riverside Food Lab

Riverside Food Lab: Shrimp Shack Cajun Fusion runs a stall inside the Riverside Food Lab at 3605 Market St, next to the Historic Mission Inn. Chef Phillip Lai built the concept from a 626 Night Market booth in 2014 into a small IE chain — Southern flavors with West Coast flair, butterfly shrimp baskets, Cajun garlic noodles, and shrimp tacos a visiting Press-Enterprise reviewer called the standout. The food-hall setting means the rest of your table can graze elsewhere; $5 beers run all day.
