A restored 1912 citrus packing house now holds 20-plus IE food stalls in downtown Redlands
Redlands Public Market: Open 7 days · Mon–Thu & Sun to 10 p.m., Fri–Sat to midnight · 330 N. Eureka St., Redlands · Free entry; pay by stall
The 1912 brick-and-steel building packed citrus for the Mutual Orange Distributors growers' cooperative before sitting empty for decades. Developer Arteco Partners — the same firm behind Riverside's Food Lab and the Claremont Packing House — spent roughly $11 million restoring it.
The result is a communal hall: long shared tables under the original steel beams, an outdoor courtyard with live music and a flower bar, an arcade, and a 1904 trolley car you can dine inside. Vendor mix runs barbecue, burgers, Mediterranean, Indian, Taiwanese, brunch, and ice cream.
Owner Jerry Tessier has said sales in the first year ran below his Riverside hall, so go support it — this is a local-roots project, not a chain build.
