Indio breaks ground this summer on $45 million police headquarters

IE Business Daily: The headquarters at 46800 Jackson St. becomes the department's primary hub for officers, command staff, and support personnel, according to a statement on the city's website. It caps a campus going up at Jackson Street and Dr. Carreon Blvd., where Tilden-Coil Constructors has already delivered a 13,500-square-foot fire station, a 7,000-square-foot dispatch center, and a two-story, 22,000-square-foot public safety services building. Construction runs through spring 2028; the department's eventual size hasn't been set.
