Caltrans says Carbon Canyon Road truck ban is temporary, tied to plan to widen switchbacks

Champion Newspapers: At a Wednesday meeting, Caltrans officials said the ban on Carbon Canyon Road is not permanent, pointing to a 2023 study the City of Chino Hills commissioned that describes the restriction as temporary. The agency said widening the road's switchbacks to improve goods movement has been in the works for years.
