Travis Smith to lead UC Riverside development and alumni engagement

Travis M. Smith becomes UC Riverside's vice chancellor for Development and Alumni Engagement on July 6, succeeding interim VC Jorge Ancona. He joins from the University of Minnesota Foundation, where he led central development for a team of 123 across nine groups that delivered a record $464 million in gift commitments in fiscal 2025.
