Dicus wins outright, Binks and Vara head to runoff in San Bernardino County races

Community Forward Redlands: Educators Cali Binks and Alex Vara advanced to a November runoff for San Bernardino County superintendent of schools, taking 37.4% and 29.8% in Tuesday's primary, according to unofficial final results. Sheriff Shannon Dicus won reelection outright with 65.6% over Joe Silva. Rancho Cucamonga Councilmember Ryan Hutchison unseated incumbent Auditor-Controller Ensen Mason with 56.9% of the vote, also avoiding a November election. Results remain unofficial until certified.
